Christmas is right around the corner! 20 days to be exact… No pressure if your tree isn’t decorated. Your shopping isn’t done. Or your cookies aren’t BAKED!
But anyways enough stressing about time and let’s talk about cookies! I LOVE baking cookies. It’s very relaxing to me. I enjoy making cookies for family and friends. I have to admit, I used more sugar this weekend than I have the entire time I’ve lived in my new house!
Obviously cookies aren’t the healthiest treat. But I’m not going to be hard on myself when I have a cookie for my afternoon snack or a treat after dinner. Why am I not going to be hard? Because I got up this morning and did my work out! I drank my 75oz of water today. I ate my fruits and vegetables. And it’s Christmas time! It’s not every day that I have containers of cookies staring at me on my counter.
It’s okay to have a treat once in a while. Especially when your diet is on track 99% of the time. So have that cookie & enjoy the holiday season!
